PINSNAKE AT PINBALL EXPO '25 IN OCTOBER! 〰️ 2024 TWIPY AWARD WINNER 〰️ PINSNAKE 2.0 NOW AVAILABLE 〰️

Are you playing a lot of pinball,
and forgetting to maintain it?
Do your orbits have cobwebs?
Do you have more ball trails
than a road map?
Are your hidden paths darkened by grime?
Don't feel like taking the whole game
apart to clean one area?

Well, you're in luck!
The PinSnake is here!

The PinSnake™ is a 3D Printed flexible yet rigid tool that will allow you to clean your pinball machine's orbits, tunnels, hidden passages and hard to reach places without taking the playfield apart.

Complete with microfiber terrycloth towel and the new PinEraser Ball, the PinSnake has become an excellent addition to my toolbox. Perfect for those
who are meticulous about their pins, owners who have games on routes, and everyone in between!

Why do I need a PinSnake?

Cleaning your pinball playfield regularly is a necessity. But how do you clean all of those hidden orbits, tunnels, obstructed ramps
and more? You could unscrew a few ramps and get in there with a rag. You could even tear down the entire playfield to the wood.
Even if you went all out and cleaned every inch, the dust and grime will come back.

So how do you combat that?

The PinSnake allows proper maintenance of your pinball machine.

A weekly cleaning,
or after an intense tournament,
or even when your OCD kicks in,
the PinSnake can deliver.

The PinSnake has shown a lot of success since its inception in July of 2024. During that time I listened to a lot of feedback from pinball owners and my own ideas on how to tackle the issues of cleaning
a pinball playfield.

I was able to come up with three new
modifications for the PinSnake that
will make it easier to clean your machine.

PINSNAKE 2.0 IS NOW AVAILABLE!

The first thing is combating the “ball trails” of black lines. For the uninformed, ball trails are made up of microscopic fragments of rubber, silicone, metal and plastic that are constantly being bombarded by a high speed steel ball. These fragments cover the playfield and the ball will begin to crush the dust into the playfield, creating the unsightly black lines. Usually these can be found in orbits or lanes that the ball always has a set path on. Left unchecked, these trails build up over time.

The PinEraser Ball assists the PinSnake by
kicking up the grime even further. Easily cleaned with alcohol, the rubber ball is strong enough to give friction onto the playfield and help get more of the yuck.

This Ball, combined with the Towel, makes for a nice cleaning experience that will help maintain your games. The Ball can be exposed for wet applications, or hidden with the towel for dry applications.

Portability was another issue for me. The original PinSnake could not bend 90 degrees due to the fins on the top. With resizing the fins as well as redesigning the gear system, I was able to fold the PinSnake in half and have it snug in my toolbox. The other change was elevating the Tail of the PinSnake so it can rest on itself, instead of sticking out. This allows the user to keep it in a toolbox or case without being bulky.

With these simple yet effective changes, the PinSnake is even more versatile to clean all types of pinball playfields. Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel for new videos and demonstrations coming soon!

PinSnake 2.0 will be available at the 2025 Pinball Expo in Schaumburg, IL!
Due to the upcoming show, all sales of PinSnake online will be put on the Queue to be fulfilled after October 20th.

How Do I Use a PinSnake?

The PinSnake is the same diameter as
a stainless steel pinball. Velcro adhesive
is attached to the underside and edges to hold onto your cleaning towel.
The PinSnake can form into almost any shape in your playfield’s pathways.

The PinSnake can be used with Novus, Alcohol, or your preferred pinball wax.
The terrycloth is machine-washable and
can be used several times over before putting it in the laundry
(depending on how dirty your pins are).

Our Videos on YouTube show the
PinSnake in action on a number of
different pinball machines.
Obviously not every pinball in existence
has been tested…yet.
